Are YOU a Mani-Maniac?

1. Do you have an impossible a heck of a time leaving a beauty supply store, drug store, or even grocery store without sticking a new polish (or two) in your shopping cart?

2. Do you swear to your boyfriend (who points out that you JUST bought a new polish the last time you were shopping) that this turquoise is totally different from the last one because this has gold shimmer in it or that you absolutely don’t yet own a coral shade with a pearl finish?

3. Do you know that, in actuality, you don’t NEED these new polishes…but you buy them nonetheless?

4. Do you rush home and take off the polish you have on (which is probably only a day or two old) and paint your nails with your brand new shade?

5. When you’ve had a terrible day, do you treat yourself to a manicure? (When you’ve had an AMAZING day, do you treat yourself to a manicure?)

If you answered “Yes!” to any (or all) of these questions, you, my friend, are probably (definitely) a Mani-Maniac

Ladies, you and I both know that nail-polish is not just something you slap on your fingers (even though our guys or less mani-obsessed friends may think so). We know that polished fingers are not auxiliary accessories but imperative and necessary components to any great outfit. A proper color and well painted nail serves as a means of self expression. It’s an extension of your personal sense of style. It’s also a great way to add a pop of color or bling to any outfit without dropping a significant amount of money on jewelry or shoes. (Try telling your man that it’s either the silver glitter top coat or a new necklace. He’ll probably let you buy the top coat.) Last of all, a great nail polish is just one more way to make yourself feel fabulous before leaving your house. Know you’re in for a boring day at the office? That’s okay! You’re ready to face the day with your awesome outfit and your brand new matching OPI shade. Every time you look down at your keyboard, you aren’t so bummed…because your nails look DAMN good.

So, fellow lacquer-lovers, embrace your inner mani-maniac and spend a few minutes today reading (or drooling over) some polish. You are NOT alone.
